Frequently Asked Questions Regarding The Prophetic

Since the fall of man in the Garden of Eden, mankind has sought to reclaim the relationship with God that Adam and Eve had. Because man's make-up consists of body, soul and spirit, every part of man seeks his own. We, as homo-sapiens are spirit housed in a body, with a soul. Jehovah God, our Faithful Creator, made us in his image and after his likeness. Scripture tells us that Adam had perpetual communion with God.  Prayer, as we know and understand it, was not necessary. He (Adam) walked with God and he did not have to pray to get to Him; he was with Him. However, after their disobedience this consistent communion was broken. Sin entered the universe.

From that time until now mankind has sought the road to the supernatural and/or spiritual things.  The adversary of our souls knows man's quest.  The devil has put within our reach every possible way for us to enter the supernatural -- but without God.  Satan's design is to keep us in disobedience, by deceiving and misleading.  He continues to show man ways to accomplish all things, but without God just like he deceived and mislead Eve.  Jesus said, "...He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber" (John 10:1). Jesus is the door.  Through Jesus, who is the way, the truth and the life, and with the unction of the Holy Spirit we can regain what was lost through disobedience.

Prophet's Night is another way God is using in this hour to bring mankind back to the place of communion with the Father. The Prophet's chief charge is to turn the hearts of men back to God; to awaken man’s desire for truth and true fellowship with their maker. The Prophetic Word, coming from the heart of God spoken from the mouth of the Prophet to the heart of the believer, will dispel the powers of darkness and the strongholds of Satan and deliver God's precious fruit (us) back to him.

  • What is prophecy?
  • Is prophecy for today?
  • What is a Prophetic Word?
  • What is prophecy? According to 1 Corinthians 14 Prophecy is a message spoken by inspiration of the Holy Spirit to the believer. This inspired message is given (spoken) to the congregation and its purpose is to bring edification, exhortation and comfort.

    Is prophecy for today?

Yes, the Bible says in Hebrews 13:8, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day and for ever.” Furthermore, according to Romans 2:11, “For there is no respect of persons with God.” He does not prefer one believer over another. Therefore, He would not grace his children in the Old Testament, nor those in the early Church anymore than He would grace us today. He spoke to His people in the Old Testament, the early church and He is speaking to His people today.

    What is a Prophetic Word?

A personal prophecy ministered by a Prophet, which can include edification, exhortation and comfort.  Personal prophecy also can include rebuke, instruction, direction and activation based on what the Lord desires for that individual.
